Leisure Inn Penny Royal Hotel & Apartments is a great base for exploring Tasmania with Cradle Mountain National Park only 2 hours drive and Hobart 2.5 hours drive from Launceston.
The hotel originally opened in the mid 1970’s and was constructed from reclaimed bricks of an 1840’s corn mill. The refurbished hotel guest rooms are modern but have a cosy feel to them. In a separate complex, are the fully refurbished studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments built in a traditional style but equipped with modern amenities for both business and leisure guests.
